Job Responsibilities of Sr. Manager – Wireless Information Security

  • Reporting directly to the Head of Wireless Information Security:
  • The Sr. Manager of Wireless Information Security will drive the strategy, architecture, GRC, third party risk and contracts functions required to build out the Wireless Information Security capability.
  • This leader will be empowered to build new teams and capabilities with an eye toward creating a sustainable security footprint in Wireless.
  • He or she will collaborate closely with partners to deliver strategic and operational technology that enhances the overall experience. In addition, this position will be responsible for analyzing business and partner requests and translate their vision into meaningful capabilities.

    In this role, you will:

  • Define and implement the product strategy that aligns with their overall security objectives and strategic drivers.
  • Create overall partner onboarding workflow including evaluation/vetting, approval, contract rules and lifecycle, education, dev portal access, and security attributes.
  • Manage ongoing processes and services within the Security environment.
  • Provide leadership and structure to the Compliance processes.
  • Drive Architectural decisions to ensure that security is forefront in all new endeavors.
  • Grow technical and process integrations across a growing number of SaaS applications
  • Provide vision and direction to continuously stay abreast of an evolving technology landscape.
  • Verify regular audits are completed for processes, data, controls, and security.
  • Work with the teams to identify and create process improvement plans.
  • Prioritize project and task requests and provide oversight through completion.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, performance evaluation, promotion, and retention activities.

  • Knowledge of physical security, control, and auditing.
  • An understanding of wireless architecture and technologies.
