Systems Testing Analyst:

Test Designer Functions - Required Experience for this role:

-- Experience with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) audit processes.

--Experience with RSA Archer GRC Tool and audit processes. 

 

EDUCATION / EQUIVALENCY:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IS, or job related degree

OR Associates Degree with 2 Added years of combined education and work experience

OR extra 4 years job related experience (Total 9 years of related work experience)

 

CANDIDATE TECHNICAL BACKGROUND:

-- Test Designer and Development, set up and execution experience  (Required, 5 years)

-- Test requirements, analysis and planning experience (Required, 5 years)

-- Excellent project planning, organization and management skills demonstrated through multiple interactions. (Required)

-- Thorough understanding of data processing terminology and operations. (Required)

-- Experience implementing large software rollout efforts.  (Required)

-- Software development process knowledge with emphasis on Waterfall development/Methodology. (Required) Methodology)  

-- Test Development, set up and execution experience in Quality Center. (Highly Desired)

-- Test requirements, analysis and planning experience in Quality Center.  (Highly Desired)

-- Familiarity with static review and cyclomatic testing techniques. (Highly Desired)

DAILY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-- Actively participates in leading, developing and executing Test Matrices in the WMS/DMS testing group for efforts involving large numbers of customers. 

-- Analyzes functional requirements to determine software application testing requirements. 

-- Coordinates system testing and production implementation verification with I/S staff and Customer Testers. 

-- Assists with test planning and execution as needed.  Oversees testing walkthroughs and JADS. 

-- Reviews I/S test results prior to customer testing. 

-- Ensures a complete testing matrix is in place by tracing requirements to test cases.

-- Actively participates in the development of Test Plans, Defect Management oversight and facilitates effective communications with the customer during system and qual testing. 

 

SYSTEM(S) THE CONTRACTOR WILL INTERACT WITH/BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Work Flow Management, CM8, CMOD, CaptureIt, VerifyIt applications.

 

PRIMARY WORKING RELATIONSHIP(S) INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION:

Other I/S teams - RSET, PMO, Client, BSA, Development areas and our customer testers/management.

 

WORKING HOURS/CONDITIONS:

Occasional nights and Weekend work

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

45% Participate in the design phase of projects to ensure that new or modified functions are developed using correct testing methodology. Arrange major activities between the client and IS staff to ensure maximum gain from technical resources.

 

45% Complete supportive administrative and lead activities such as attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports and developing processes.

 

10% Perform testing duties which may involve reviewing test data, executing testing, and monitoring results.
