Job Title: UX Designer

Location: Burlington/RTP, NC

Employment Terms: Contract-to-hire (6 months before converting)


  • Provide modern and fast single page applications and address unique challenges in the interaction with various devices and input preferences.
  • Work with the UX/UI designer team, project managers, business analysts, web service software developers and users across the organization and create a fast, intuitive, and easy-to-use software.
  • Collaborates with Business Analyst on product requirements analysis.
  • Pushes the envelope with innovative, creative thinking and pixel perfect UX design
  • Services include new solutions as well as revamp of existing high velocity enterprise systems. Deal with complex business integrations, elicit requirements, contribute to mockups and wire frames, and implement the user interface (UI) as part of an integrated and agile development team.
  • Drive the evolution of our solutions and ensure that we meet our internal and external clients' software requirements. Assist the UX/UI designer team in brainstorming, research, and wireframe translation into reusable components for deliverables and larger development teams across the organization. 
  • Deliver prototypes, reusable and shared UX/UI components, advanced scripting solutions, and implementations of application UIs. Collaborate with Business Analyst on product requirements analysis.
  • The UX Designer/Architect is a creative problem solver. They must be an organized yet creative thinker with a good sense of the overall goal of a product and then able to develop the road map to achieving it.
  • The User Experience Architect must be an excellent verbal and visual communicator, with the flexibility and patience to try new things. They must understand the way viewers use a particular website. They will be tasked with finding a way to answer, “Can we do that?” 
  • Strong software proficiency that spans programs including Design Systems Material Design, Adobe Cloud, Axure, Sketch and InVision on a Mac.
  • Strong skills in HTML5 and CSS3; JavaScript; Angular, Node.js; Bootstrap other UI libraries.
  • Familiar with standards such as jQuery and Material Design; and UI design skills and user-centered design disciplines (User Experience (UX) design).
  • Work as a multi-skilled professional practicing Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
  • Ability to coach and mentor members of UX team as well as teams adopting the platforms.
