Radiology IT Supervisor – Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises assigned enterprise Radiology IT team(s).
  • Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in all phases (planning, design, testing, validation, go-live) and types of work (support, optimizations, projects) for radiology team(s).
  • Defines system scope and objectives based on the enterprise knowledge of the systems and end user needs.
  • Anticipates roadblocks, provides best practice solutions to complex problems and plays a leadership role in presenting solutions to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Create test plans for application upgrades and assist other clinical divisions with creating portions of test plans that include Radiology tasks and orders.
  • Provides mentoring to Radiology analysts and provides support to other clinical system projects participants.
  • Builds effective relationships with clinical, operational and revenue cycle stakeholders.
  • Helps develop and promote effective communication tools and processes in concurrence with the Enterprise Imaging manager creating a high performing team environment.
  • Works with other team members to provide support and on-call resolution of issues.
  • Maintain the on-call schedule.
  • Promotes and helps lead a robust change control and risk mitigation practice across the entire scope of Radiology work.
  • Provides enterprise coordination for all aspects of imaging work.

Radiology IT Supervisor – Job Requirements:
Minimum qualification requirements to be considered:

  • 3 years' experience in a hospital acute care environment
  • 3 years' experience with a variety of healthcare Radiology and EMR systems, e.g., Nuance Powerscribe, Sectra PACS, MIM, Cerner, Epic, GE, McKesson, Siemens.
  • 3 years' experience with Radiology software application implementation(s).
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or related field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
  • Experience working in a supervisory role (Preferred)
  • Candidates need an excellent background in interface/integration work and looking for reporting skills.
